“Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night”….Well, we didn’t face all these weather conditions during our advocacy event in Albany on May 16, but we did have tornado warnings, high winds and downed trees. But nothing can stop the Allergy Advocacy Association! We had 30 volunteers from FARE and 12 from our association including two doctors. With a couple of media events featuring new faces and stories to share with lawmakers, we had very effective meetings to discuss legislation with members in both houses. Stay tuned for our June newsletter to hear more details from the event, but in the meantime article four includes some great publicity we got in www.allergicliving.com about the bills we are currently trying to get passed.
